| Station Equipment Grants Available
|
|
The National Telecommunication and Information Administration's Public Telecommunications Facilities Program (PTFP) has $16.8 million in grants available, a slight cut from last year. The deadline for
applications is Feb. 22. Grants are
for equipment for new stations or for replacement of failing equipment. PTFP will also fund emergency
generators and digital conversion for
stations not eligible for CPB money. They

Composer Grants Available

The Minneapolis-based First Nations Composer Initiative has announced a new grant program to support activities that boost traditional
and contemporary Indigenous creative music. Common Ground was created help musicians in commissions,
